The Orlando area is a must if you are a keen golfer. Near DisneyDreaming there are in the region of 20 golf courses within just a few minutes' drive. The most testing and, arguably, the most challenging course must be the 'ChampionsGate' course – an 18-hole championship golf course, designed by the legendary Australian golfer, Greg 'The Shark' Norman. It also has a David Leadbetter Golf Academy on site. ChampionsGate is no more than 5 minutes' drive away.
Due to the number of top class golf courses in the area, the price of playing a round of golf is becoming cheaper and cheaper year after year, so unlike Europe, you don't have to pay through-the-roof prices to play on some of the world's best golf courses.

ChampionsGate is Orlando's newest world
class golf resort. It has two distinctive and memorable courses designed
by Greg Norman. It is also the home of David Leadbetter's Golf Academy.
The Celebration Golf Club boasts one of
the finest daily fee golf facilities in Central Florida. Celebration offers
unparalleled programs targeted to the junior golfer including a specialised
junior clinics and a challenging 3-hole Junior course.
The
Highlands Reserve Golf Club winds through pine trees, old citrus
groves, and features over 120' of elevation change. It is as scenic as it
is challenging.
Falcon's
Fire Golf Club is a Rees Jones Signature Design Masterpiece which
pays respects to the timeless traditions to the game of golf.
Wrapping around three sides of the Orlando World Centre Marriott, Hawk's
Landing Golf Club is open to the public and convenient for both
resort guests and golfing enthusiasts in the Orlando attractions area.
